Hey glad you got the 70-200 2.8! Did you get the VRII? How's the D3S? I was looking at a D7000... I'd rather have a longer lens, first.
Yup i got the VRII, and I love the D3S. Full frame, it does wonderings, housing is solid, shutter is fast, grain is barely there at 1600iso.
I heard good things about D7000, especially with its video option. It's comparable, if not better than the Canon 7d and D90.
