A Little Bit of Soap, De La Soul

I dedicate this song to some kids in my Studio I class.

I'd also would like to thank the Lord that this semester is over so I don't have to smell that ass cheese from those kids for at least another 40 days. Then I pray to our Savior that I do not have classes with these folks my up coming semester.... oh Lord!

Procasitation

instead of work or working on my finals, i'm looking up music videos. this wouldn't be a problem if mtv would actually play music videos, or if digital television and youtube didn't take over and killed the box (poor man's mtv).

Music is the Weapon 2
Dec 12th, @ Between Lounge (1324 N Milwaukee Ave)
930-2AM

DJ Limbs
DJ Dishwasha
DJ Aroc (HadesBaby)
DJ Belly

Hosted by Magnum Exel and Nadia Alfadel

Open mic 930-1030 (sign ups @ mail@mitw-chi.com)

First one was a hit so keeping things moving. This time 'round we're featuring:

Chicago Independent Radio Project (CHIRP)
Rumble Arts

Both are outstanding non-profits working here in Chicago. Let's help 'em build for our local communities. We've added an open-mic session to kick off the night for performers and will keep the mic available throughout the night for those spontaneous freestyle sessions when the vibe's right.

For those who can't make it, you can still help out these two Chicago NPOs by donating at www.mitw-chi.com. All donations + 15% of the bar and bonuses from the owners are split between the two groups.

Monty Stark, of the Stark Reality, had lost his battle to cancer this past thanksgiving weekend. He had some awesome funky children music going on...
